ef-fervo, ĕre ( praes. effervent, Vitr. 2, 6, 5), v. n., to boil up or over ( poet. and in post-Aug. prose):

quatenus in pullos animales vortier ova Cernimus alituum vermesque effervere, qs. to come boiling forth,
